Kempsville HS holds Pitch Night for student entrepreneurs

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well at Kempsville High School.

On Wednesday students from the school’s entrepreneurship & business academy will compete for funding during pitch night. Student teams will present their business concepts to a panel of business experts.

According to Virginia Beach City Public Schools the competition is like “Shark Tank” for high school students.

The event takes place at 5 p.m. at Kempsville High School, 5194 Chief Trail in Virginia Beach.
