Kyndryl Introduces Threat Insights Service For AWS To Enhance Cybersecurity Operations
IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl has announced that its Threat Insights Managed Service is available using Amazon Security Lake. The service automatically centralises an organisation’s security data from across their Amazon Web Services environments for better visibility, driving identification, mitigation and response of sophisticated cybersecurity risks.
By centralising data and analysis, the service offers insights that are not possible with siloed security technologies. The service is integrated into Kyndryl Bridge, which gives a consolidated view of security risks that could negatively impact their business.
According to Kyndryl, the service provides organisations options for:
Enhanced Cyber Resilience: Using an integrated approach combining security and resiliency improves an organisation’s ability to anticipate, protect, withstand and recover from cyber incidents and operational disruptions.
Improved Visibility And Simplicity: Mitigating risk is a key challenge as digital entities grow in complexity to meet business objectives. Through the service, customers can use a single pane view into their security and resiliency risks. This helps accelerate their decision-making capabilities for faster threat detection and effective response.
AI/ML-Powered Analysis: Anomaly detection with improved threat intelligence, coupled with artificial intelligence/machine learning-based analysis, allows the service to assess security data, provide insights and prioritise investigation. This allows better detection and automated response, and also enhances customers’ compliance initiatives.
“By joining Kyndryl’s deep cybersecurity expertise with the benefits of Amazon Security Lake, we can address the urgent need for an integrated approach to security and resilience, empowering our customers to not only anticipate and protect against threats but also to quickly withstand and recover,” said Michelle Weston, vice president of security and resiliency, Kyndryl.
