Leading Voices in Fintech Gather for Fintech Week London
Fintech Week London, a series of events that celebrates London’s innovative fintech scene, has just announced an impressive line-up of the industry’s key leaders taking to the stage at this year’s flagship conference. Taking place between 10 and 14 June, the flagship event on 13 June in the Park Plaza Victoria London, will bring together notable speakers, including Theo Lau, Founder of Unconventional Ventures, Torry Bernsten, CEO of Standard Chartered for Europe & Americas and Charlotte Crosswell, Chair of the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT).
Building on the success of last year’s event, the 2024 conference extends its scope with enhanced speed networking where attendees will meet in short curated matchmaking sessions, making networking even more efficient. The combination between high quality content and ample time for networking, will continue to position London as an important hub for financial innovation.

During the plenary opening session of the flagship conference, Fintech Week London will host a fireside chat with Mariam Ogunbambi, Chief Client Officer at Engine by Starling and Nike Shoge, Head of Commercial Growth at Starling Banking Services, discussing the Future of Finance and the next stage of Starling’s growth.
Additionally, the conference will feature keynotes from industry knowledge leaders such as Professor Ian Horrocks, Co-founder of Oxford Semantic Technologies, a University of Oxford spin out that has developed a new type of AI technology that can make logical and accurate decisions based on human knowledge at vast scale. Professor Horrocks will be featured in the Artificial Intelligence theme, doing a deep dive into Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR) and how this is quite different from LLMs, machine learning and other AI technologies that are already better known.
Completing its series of events, Fintech Week London also features the Fintech London Ceremony on the 12 June at the Underglobe, London, further celebrating excellence in the sector.
