Louisville to celebrate artists, entrepreneurs with intellectual disabilities at Creative Connections event
The Louisville Public Library, the Cultural Advisory Board and nonprofit Celebrate EDU have scheduled a weekend to celebrate artists and entrepreneurs with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Creative Connections event will be held at the library, 951 Spruce St. On June 15. The Celebrate EDU Pop-Up Market will have a variety of crafting workshops and a meet and greet with featured artists and entrepreneurs. More workshops and events are planned for June 16.
Celebrate EDU is a nonprofit that aims to break barriers to entrepreneurship for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
