Mango is strengthening its homeware offering as it appoints Nuria Font as the new director of Mango Home.
Font joined Mango in 2006 as product manager in commercial product management and since then has held various senior positions within the company. Her most recent role was director of Mango’s wholesale department.
In her new role, she has succeeded Laura Vila who spent 17 seventeen years with Mango and led the launch of home line in 2021 with a textile collection. This was followed by the introduction of new lines last year in the categories of decoration and homeware to enable the retailer offer products for every room in the home.
Mango will be extending its homeware offering online to new markets such as Turkey in 2024, and in 2025 is planning to open physical stores for the first time.
Its product offering is currently available in five physical multi-line stores in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza, as well as in 32 online marketplaces, mainly in Europe and the US.
In a statement, Mango said: “The new management, which will help achieve the objectives set out in the new Strategic Plan 2024-2026, will reinforce Mango Home’s value proposition through aspirationalism, quality and individual style.”
