FARGO — Everyone is invited to an Electric Vehicle (EV) Readiness Open House hosted by the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG).
“The open house will provide the public with an opportunity to ask questions and provide input about electric vehicle usage as the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area prepares for an expected increase in EV adoption,” the release states.
If you go:
What: Electric Vehicle Readiness Open House
When: 4:30–6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024
Where: Sky Commons Conference Center (2nd floor of the Fargo Civic Center), 207 4th St. N., Fargo
Those who attend will be able to complete self-guided activities and ask local government staff questions about the area’s EV readiness. EV experts will also be on hand to discuss the impact that EV’s will have in the metro.
Metro COG is in the middle of their Electric Vehicle Readiness Study. They anticipate completing this study by Dec. 2024.
Those unable to attend the open house are welcome to share their thoughts in an online survey now through Wednesday, May 1, the release states.
That survey, along with additional project information, is available at www.fmmetrocog.org/EVreadiness.
Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
