Microsoft build 3.3 billion dollar Artificial Intelligence lab in Racine | WFRV Local 5
GREEN BAY Wis. WFRV – Microsoft will build a 3.3 billion dollar artificial intelligence lab in Racine, and Titletown Tech will be working right alongside them. Titletown Tech managing director Craig Dickman says the technology can be used in many ways.
“A.I. Has the opportunity to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, but it also has the opportunity to be used for evil and bad things and so understanding what the rules of engagements are, understanding how important it is to put the ethical guard rails around it I think has been part of this discussion almost from the beginning,” explained Dickman.
Packers’ President Mark Murphy says the new lab will focus on manufacturing in the state.
“Manufacturing is so important to the state of Wisconsin, and I think this new A.I. Lab is really going to be a game changer,” stated Murphy.
The lab is expected to serve 270 Wisconsin companies by 2030, including 135 manufacturing businesses.
