NDOT rolls out updated electric vehicle plan
Lincoln, Neb. — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) has announced updates to its National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) plan.
The updates include a schedule for applications, information about the program, and a map of the Alternative Fuel Corridor (AFC).
NDOT already has $17 million in funding but will have $30 million over the course of five years.
They plan to award seven locations across Nebraska’s AFC (I-80) to comply with Federal NEVI requirements.
Applicants can expect to submit around August.
Information about the program will continue to be made available.
