New cybersecurity paid-training program opens to SA applicants
The program aims to address a global shortage of skilled IT security professionals.
SAN ANTONIO — A new opportunity has opened up for San Antonians looking to jumpstart a career in cybersecurity while getting paid to learn.
NukuDo is offering a training program designed to help participants develop job-ready skills. The program aims to revolutionize the cybersecurity industry and address a global shortage of skilled IT security professionals.
“We will actually eliminate every barrier it takes to get them into the industry, including paying for them to come and learn from us for six months. And then on top of that, we’re going to get them certified to a level that’s significantly higher than most in the industry,” said Managing Director of NukuDo, Michael Blair.
Blair says NukuDo treats learning like a job. “Day one, you’re making $4,000 a month plus full benefits including dental, a 401k match, vision, health care…” he said.
NukuDo guarantees their trainees will not only be trained and certified, but get a job for the first three years. Once placed in the industry upon completion of the program, Blair adds the company will pay a salary of $66,000 for three years of commitment.
“We’re going to put our money where our mouth is…Our education is so on point with what an industry is demanding, particularly for the mid-level roles,” said Blair.
All applicants with a desire to pursue a cybersecurity career, regardless of educational and professional background, are encouraged to apply.
