New Logpoint CEO Mikkel Drucker to drive European cybersecurity expansion

Cybersecurity vendor Logpoint has recruited Mikkel Drucker as its new CEO.

The vendor said Drucker, an accomplished international technology executive, will bring a strong focus on commercial excellence and a proven track record of successfully scaling SaaS and scale-up companies to drive profitable growth.

He joins Logpoint after serving as CEO at Netigate, where he oversaw the company’s successful sale to a private equity fund and spearheaded its healthy growth performance.

“We’re excited to have Mikkel on board. His experience with scaling businesses and overseeing organisational transformation to drive financial growth and his understanding of improving company offerings to accelerate market traction will be instrumental in enhancing Logpoint’s growth journey,” said Jim Pflaging, chairman of the board at the vendor.

In his new role, Drucker will focus on enhancing the company’s financial growth and reinforcing its commitment to democratising efficient cybersecurity solutions for mid-sized organisations in Europe.

The company said it is aiming to secure profitable organic annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth by increasing market share in the European mid-market, expanding channel and MSSP partnerships, and attracting key cybersecurity talent as the company scales.

Logpoint will also seek strategic acquisition opportunities to further grow and expand its market position.

“Cybersecurity is an exciting industry contributing to solving one of the greatest challenges in society today: cyber risk,” said Drucker.

“We are uniquely positioned to capitalise on the cybersecurity market growth with its European foundation, technology tailored to protect organisations in the mid-market, and outstanding customer and partner relationships. I look forward to building on that strong foundation and establishing Logpoint as a strong European cybersecurity vendor and a great place to work.”

Targeting MSPs

Logpoint also recently unveiled new features for its Converged SIEM platform, streamlining threat detection, security operations, and case management.

The update aimed to simplify processes, reduce workloads, and boost efficiency for organisations, especially MSPs.

Logpoint positions itself as a preferred cybersecurity partner for MSPs serving small and medium businesses. Enhancements include adaptive memory management for system stability, user-friendly alert configuration, and automated incident artifact extraction into cases for context-rich detection and response.

The platform facilitates playbook distribution with integration-agnostic templates for typical security use cases, allowing easy updating and distribution to tenants with different integrations, saving time and minimising errors.
