Nuqleous of Bentonville Acquires Data Analytics Firm Shiloh Technologies

Nuqleous of Bentonville, a provider of automated retail space planning and performance analytics software to corporations including Walmart Inc., announced the acquisition of smart data analytics provider Shiloh Technologies of Rogers.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Shiloh is the developer of ShilohNEXT, an artificial intelligence-powered data analytics platform for retail. In a news release, Nuqleous said the acquisition will allow it to accelerate its retail analytics solutions, strengthen its existing solution portfolio for Walmart’s supplier and broker ecosystem, and expand its connected sources for syndicated data.

The deal aligns with Nuqleous’ vision of creating a global, unified retail analytics platform, according to the release. The company’s goal is to “transform the world’s retail data into actionable insights that enable intelligent decision-making on a global scale across every category.”

Bill Kloza, Co-CEO of Nuqleous, said in statement, “Our combined forces will push the boundaries of innovation for our customers more than ever before. Together we offer intuitive, integrated insights and connectivity for retail and omnichannel data, providing our customers with more actionable insights to serve increasingly dynamic consumer preferences.”

The deal comes after Nuqleous, founded in 2013, secured a $26 million growth investment last year from Blue Ladder Capital, a private investment and operating firm that specializes in B2B software companies.

Along with Walmart, Nuqleous counts more than 75 major companies among its clients, including Target Corp., The Kroger Co., PepsiCo Inc., The Kellogg Co. and Anheuser-Busch Companies LLC.

The company in 2021 and 2022 was named one of the fastest growing U.S. companies by Inc. magazine.
