Tesla Inc.’s (NASDAQ:TSLA) latest v12.3.4 full self-driving (FSD) feature has started rolling out for more users in the United States, and the latest one to join the list of its fans is an Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA) employee.

What Happened: On Tuesday, Tesla investor Sawyer Merritt shared a tweet praising Tesla’s full self-driving (FSD) feature. Merritt quoted Yuke Zhu, Nvidia’s Senior Lead of Robotics, who had recently tested Tesla’s FSD and described the experience as “magical.”

Merritt’s tweet follows Tesla’s recent moves to make its FSD more accessible to consumers. On Friday, Tesla announced a significant price cut for its FSD-supervised package, reducing the monthly subscription fee from $199 to $99 in the U.S.

Earlier in March, Tesla CEO Elon Musk rolled out a free one-month trial of the FSD feature to all U.S. Tesla owners. This move aimed to extend the trial to all existing owners who had not yet experienced the FSD Beta.

As of March 2024, Tesla’s FSD software was deployed on approximately 2 million vehicles in the U.S., according to Tesla AI Manager Paril Jain.
