Proposed Telecommunication Tower Draws Interest | News

WESTMORE – A public meeting was held on Thursday to discuss a proposed telecommunication tower in Westmore. The tower will be located on Peter Hyslop’s property on Frog Hollow Lane. The meeting was requested by the Town of Westmore as a first step in a process to get the tower permitted.

Kevin Delaney, the site acquisition and development manager at Industrial Tower and Wireless in Connecticut, presented an outline of the project. The telecommunication tower must receive a Certificate of Public Good from the Public Utility Commission (PUC). An application has not yet been filed.
