Reddit appoints ex-Google exec as VP of Ads Products
Reddit has appointed Jyoti Vaidee as its first Vice President of Ads Product.
In her new role, Vaidee will drive ads product strategy, execution, and management of the Ads Product organisation.

She joins the social media giant from Google, where she spent over 11 years in senior roles leading ads products and monetisation.
Most recently she held the position of Director of Product Management at the technology giant, a position she held for over two years.
Prior to Google, she spent eight years at Microsoft holding a raft of positions including Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer and Engineering Manager.
Vaidee, said: “This is an exciting time for Reddit as a newly public company with so much untapped potential.
“The platform is leading the way in creating community and fostering authentic connections with very real commercial results. I’m looking forward to helping advance Reddit’s ads business and driving increased value for users and advertisers alike.”
She will also report to Roelof van Zwol, who is taking on the expanded role of VP of Ads Product and Engineering.
Meanwhile, the social media platform also announced the departure of Shariq Rizvi who has led Reddit’s Ads Product and Engineering org for more than five years as EVP of Ads Monetisation.
Reddit Chief Operating Officer, Jen Wong, continued: “Shariq’s leadership over the last five years transformed Reddit’s advertising solutions and experience. He has built a strong and enduring foundation for Reddit ads.
