Robots and free peppermints – what’s not to like?
16th of May 2024
Claiming to be the only manufacturer of cleaning robots in India is Peppermint Robotics.
The company’s autonomous scrubber dryers are quietly gliding around stand 05.409a tucked away at the back of hall five. But Peppermint has big plans.
“We want to expand into Europe,” said global head of marketing Sarang Sardeshpande. “This is our first time at Interclean and it is going really well.”
Latest Peppermint product to the market is the SD20 compact scrubber-dryer. This is said to operate seamlessly around curved paths and complex areas with the aid of Peppermint Path Planner V2 technology.
Supervisors are provided with access to real-time alerts and maintenance logs via a cloud-connected dashboard. And the robot has humanoid eyes that simulate blinking to help the user connect with the machine.
The robots are suitable for use in various industries including manufacturing, healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical, airports and other transport hubs.
So, what is special about Peppermint Robotics? Well, the company is giving out free peppermints to potential customers for a start. But it goes beyond that, according to Sardeshpande.
“All our components are made in-house and we have 26 R&D engineers on site which enables us to manufacture high quality products,” he said. “And we also offer excellent after-sales support.”
