Ahmedabad: The Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) on Friday announced the establishment of a drone robotics centre in association with a private firm. This initiative stems from the development of rooster drone technology, which began in April 2022. A prototype of the technology was handed over to the Indian Army in Nov 2023 after undergoing significant improvements. Officials stated that the new centre will concentrate on three primary areas: rooster drone technology, drone forensics, and counter-drone technologies.TNN
