Salomon and L’art de l’Automobile collaborate for PFW

After last year’s first collection, when Salomon and L’art de l’Automobile collaborated for Paris Fashion Week, the two brands are back for the upcoming FW with a capsule collection that celebrates motorsports aesthetics. This time, they have chosen two representative models from Salomon, the SPEEDCROSS 3 and the XTC4, available in a red, blue, and gold colorway. For this collaboration, Arthur Kar drew inspiration from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and his childhood experiences in his family’s garage, where his love for race cars was born and changed his life. He dedicated it to his family’s workshop, paying homage to his father and how customers always left with a smile on their faces.

The XT-4 OG KAR / L’ART creates an aesthetic parallel between one of our legendary trail silhouettes and a pioneering and iconic figure from the late 1990s sports car racing scene, the Porsche GT1 Mobil1. An elegant, fast, and high-performance car lends its color inspiration and unique design lines to a renewed trail legend. While the SPEEDCROSS 3 KAR / L’ART is an aesthetic tribute to the colors of the French flag: white, red, and blue. Both shoes will be on display during PFW at a special exhibition at Dover Street Market Paris and the new Salomon Sportstyle concept store, both in Le Marais.

The pairs will be available from June 14 on the KAR / L’art de l’Automobile website and from June 18 on the Salomon e-commerce website, in selected brand stores and at selected retail partners.
