SAP launches new Business AI innovations across enterprise cloud
Multinational software firm SAP has announced it will embed its cutting-edge Business artificial intelligence (AI) across its entire enterprise solutions portfolio.
Through its advanced AI, SAP said it is able to enhance its offering to clients and use AI to make real-world improvements to business operations.
Alongside Business AI expanding, new partnerships with leading AI firms, including Meta, Google Cloud and Mistral AI, have been formed to ‘push the limits of what generative AI can do at an enterprise level’.
“Today’s AI announcements and partnerships build on our commitment to deliver revolutionary technology that drives real-world results, helping users unleash the agility and ingenuity they need to succeed in today’s fast-moving business landscape,” said Christian Klein, CEO and member of the Executive Board of SAP SE.
SAP and Google Cloud are collaborating more deeply going forward by using Business AI to support companies address growing supply chain challenges and predict potential disruptions. Meta, too, will offer their Llama 3 solution to users of SAP Analytics Cloud to generate scripts that render highly customised analytics applications.
The main goal of these additions to SAP’s solutions is to give users the tools they need to more quickly find effective generative AI use cases, like realising forecasting capabilities in SAP Sales Cloud solutions.
With the rise of generative AI, SAP are introducing their gen AI copilot called Joule into their solutions. Added to Business AI last year, Joule has recently received new capabilities that can pull information from more sources than before and even work with other AIs to answer more advanced questions.
As SAP doubles-down on the potential of AI, it has recommitted to principles of responsible AI and adopted the 10 guiding principles of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, to ensure human rights, fairness and sustainable development.
