Shark Tank India’s Namita Thapar reveals what her profession would be if she didn’t take up entrepreneurship; read deets


Shark Tank India not only brought fame to the entrepreneurs and their brands but also to the judges, known as sharks on the show. Namita Thapar, a prominent figure on the show since its beginning, has garnered a large fan following due to her insightful perspectives on various startup models and her deep understanding of entrepreneurship, quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Although it’s hard to picture Namita in any role other than a business leader, she recently revealed her alternative career choice during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit. When asked what she would be if not an entrepreneur, Namita surprising answered that she would have pursued a career as a teacher. During the same interaction with her fans, Namita was questioned about handling trolls and their impact on her mental well-being. In response, she mentioned that dealing with trolls has toughened her up even more, expressing gratitude for the experience.
She humorously added that she enjoys the memes created about her, finding it a fun way to approach life. Namita Thapar holds a prominent position in the pharmaceutical industry as the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, a company established by her father. Her strategic vision has significantly contributed to the company’s global expansion and success.
Additionally, Namita is the founder of Incredible Ventures Limited, an education company established in 2017 with the goal of teaching entrepreneurship to young individuals aged 11 to 18 years old.
