Startup Kashmir Encourages Female Entrepreneurship in Srinagar Meetup
Women too are having their own contributions in the Indian startup ecosystem. Recognizing their involvement, Startup Kashmir lately organized a meetup that was completely dedicated to women entrepreneurs. It was held at the Kong Posh restaurant in Srinagar. It was a significant milestone in the entrepreneurial scene of the region. It brought together a diverse group of professionals and business owners.
Deeba Ali from Startup Kashmir welcomed everyone to the event. Rifat Printing Press owner Rifat Mushtaq was the guest speaker. She shared her inspiring journey of success. She started from producing matchboxes and polythene and later succeeded in cardboard manufacturing.
Greenovator Incubation Foundation (GIF) CEO Shahid Mir highlighted the various support schemes available to entrepreneurs in the region. Glitz and Glam owner Seerat Zahra talked about the importance of the meetup for learning and promoting open communication as well as collaboration. Jazba Foods owner Batool Aijaz emphasized the need for a supportive network.
Seasoned entrepreneur Jahan Araa too attended the event. She provided practical advice to young and aspiring businesswomen. Jamkle Jars founder founder of emphasized the values of honesty and dedication in entrepreneurship.
