Steptoe Recruits Ex-McDermott FinTech & Blockchain Head in NY

Alexandra Scheibe has joined Steptoe as a partner in New York, the firm said Tuesday.

Scheibe represents financial services firms on financial products such as derivatives, structured products, securitizations, and other bespoke transactions, according to Steptoe. She also structures and negotiates transactions for blockchain and cryptocurrency companies.

She headed the fintech and blockchain transactions practice at McDermott Will & Emery.
