Swinomish Casino forced to close after “cybersecurity issue”

ANACORTES, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Swinomish Casino and Lodge has provided an update on their operations after being forced to close earlier this week.

In a statement posted on their website, the casino says they are investigating a cybersecurity issue impacting many of their services.

Law enforcement and cybersecurity experts are working to determine if any data was compromised.

The Swinomish Lodge and RV park remains open, but only for guests with existing reservations. Any lodge guests impacted by the closure of their other facilities will receive appropriate refunds.

The property’s leadership team adds that they do not have an estimated reopening date.
