Thales: partnership with CEA in generative AI

On the occasion of Eurosatory 2024, Thales announces the signature of a new three-year renewable partnership with CEA (Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives) in the field of generative AI.

Gathered within cortAIx, Thales’ AI gas pedal for mission-critical systems, the group’s AI research teams will collaborate with those of the CEA to provide sovereign, controlled and trusted AI solutions.

Thales will contribute its AI expertise and in-depth knowledge of the defense and security business, and the CEA its know-how in multimodal generative AI, so as to accelerate the integration of AI into the solutions offered to Thales customers.
