The latest DDoS attack trends – and how they affect you
Over the past weeks, Cloudflare automatically detected and mitigated thousands of record-breaking DDoS attacks that came as part of a deliberately engineered DDoS campaign. The campaign included dozens of attacks that exceeded 100 million requests per second.
The largest attack peaked at a mind-blowing 201 million requests per second — a figure 183% higher than our previous world record of 71M rps, and 337% higher than then Google’s previous world record of 46M rps.
