The Mill offers opportunities for small businesses in northwest TN
DYERSBURG, Tenn. — One nonprofit in Dyersburg is trying to do their part by helping small businesses.
Operating from a grant with Launch Tennessee, which is a state funded organization, The Mill Workspace is a nonprofit that looks to support entrepreneurship throughout northwest Tennessee.
CEO Chris Donaldson tells us more about their background.
“The Mill Workspace is the newest entrepreneur center in the Launch Tennessee network of regional entrepreneur centers,” Donaldson explained. “So we are one of eight entrepreneur centers across the state.”
What started off as a simple co-working space, renting out desks to give people a place to work on their own things, The Mill provides many different possibilities for the community.
“And now, as an entrepreneur center, we are offering a full suite of programs from 1-on-1 consulting with businesses, to maybe help them get unstuck or work on strategy, all the way up to we provide workshops,” said Donaldson.
If you are looking to start a small business, or if you already have one, you can reach out to The Mill to set up an appointment to figure out what you need to do in order to grow.
“That initial, what you do is fill out a form and that allows us to set up an appointment,” Donaldson said. “We just have our first interview or first meeting to talk about what you need help with.”
They constantly have workshops that you can get involved with in order to learn as much as you can about running a business, and much more great information.
