Acting U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Jeremy Brendt has expressed pride in the United States’ support of entrepreneurship initiatives in Libya, which are seen as vital to the country’s journey toward lasting stability and prosperity.

“Congratulations to the Ruya organization for successfully organizing a U.S. government-funded entrepreneurship training in Benghazi,” Brendt said in a post on the U.S. Embassy’s Facebook page.

The program, Brendt noted, provided over 40 participants from eastern and southern Libya with essential skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship, particularly in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
