US requests three-year prison sentence for Binance founder


US prosecutors filed for a three year prison sentence for Binance founder and former chief executive Changpeng Zhao on April 23.

Prosecutors said Binance did not report more than 100,000 suspicious transactions with designated terrorist groups including Hamas, al Qaeda and Isis, Reuters reported.

They also claimed Binance supported the sale of child pornography and received a large portion of ransomware proceeds.
