Varendra University Political Science Dept ink MoU with Runner Automobiles

Department of Political Science of Varendra University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Runner Automobiles PLC at the headquarters of Runner Group at Tejgaon, Dhaka on Monday.

The MoU was signed between M Habibullah, department head of Political Science at Varendra University, and Subir Kumar Chowdhury, managing director (MD) and CEO of Runner Automobiles, a renowned industrial organisation in Bangladesh.

The MoU aims to expand cooperation in the fields of education, research, and business. The initiative was undertaken by the Department of Political Science with the goal of fostering professionalism among students, which is essential for the implementation of outcome-based education (OBE) in higher education.

Through this MoU, both the Department of Political Science and Runner Automobiles will be able to contribute significantly to education and research in Bangladesh. Promises have been made from both sides regarding this.

Under this MoU, students of the Department of Political Science will have the opportunity for factory visits and internships at Runner Automobiles, and Runner Automobiles will provide necessary cooperation for the enhancement of the curriculum of the Department of Political Science.

Students from the department will be regularly invited to Runner Automobiles’ offices and factories and will be trained in administrative and management-related matters, expressing hope for a positive future.
