Wine, spirits data analytics firm Enolytics hires Sonoma County lead West Coast
Enolytics has expanded its reach to California and the rest of the West Coast with the hiring of Alison Smith Story.
The Atlanta-based wine and spirits industry data analytics firm in May brought on the co-founder of Smith Story Wine Cellars as vice president of supplier relations. Eric Story and Alison Smith Story started the boutique wine brand in May 2013 in Philo in Mendocino County, relocating to the Bacchus Landing custom winery near Healdsburg in 2021.
“A relatively untapped offering of Enolytics so far has been servicing the wholesale tier, namely importers, distributors, retailers and restaurants,” said Cathy Huyghe, Enolytics CEO and co-founder in the announcement.
Alison Smith Story has more than two decades of experience in hospitality, wine and consumer marketing and national sales, including short stints at K&L Wine Merchants in California and Central Market in Texas. For a decade before starting the wine company, she ran TexaCali Wine Co., a sales and marketing company for family-owned Texas vintners.
