WTC and Viterbo sign transfer agreement | News
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Officials from Western Technical College and Viterbo signed an agreement at the Lunda Center Tuesday morning.
It’s a transfer agreement allowing students in WTC’s new I-T Data Analytics Specialist Program to transfer at least 60 credits into Viterbo’s new I-T Data Analytics bachelor’s degree program.
Diane Monahan, Dean of the College of Business, Leadership and Ethics at Viterbo University said this field continues to grow.
“We are relying more and more on data to make business decisions and develop strategy so that our businesses can grow and evolve and become healthy productive companies,” she said.
Viterbo created the bachelor’s degree based on recommendations from Gundersen Health System and Mayo Clinic Health System according to Viterbo President Rick Trietley.
The goal is graduating more people in this field for the region.
