Xiaomi Electric Car Continues To Surprise

JAKARTA – Xiaomi’s first electric car sale, SU7, exceeded expectations, has proven the manufacturer revised the shipping figure in May 2024.

Citing from the ArenaEV page, Tuesday, June 4, on May 31, Xiaomi claimed to have delivered 8,646 units of SU7 electric sedans, previously recorded only 8,360 units.

This means that there is a difference of 16 units of delivery added and an increase in the number shows that Xiaomi’s electric vehicle production is accelerating. The company attributes this increase to a multiple shift production strategy, which is applied to meet the increasing demand for SU7.

“The SU7Xiaomi will enter a new chapter of the delivery upgrade and the Xiaomi EV will confirm shipments of more than 10,000 units in June,” wrote the Xiaomi unit on Weibo today, quoted from the CNevpost page.

Xiaomi’s commitment to streamline the ordering process can be seen from its decision to shorten the order confirmation period from seven days to three days. This step, which is effective from June 5, aims to accelerate the ordering process to delivery, improve customer experience, and increase overall sales.
