Young Makers Hamburg for more entrepreneurs

Dr Melanie Leonhard, Minister of Economics and Labour, said: “We want to promote Hamburg as a place of innovation and start-ups. We need people who want to start a business and know how to do it as early as possible”. Young Makers Hamburg has set itself a number of goals for educating young people about entrepreneurism. The initiative will act as a central point of contact for school and non-school stakeholders, and will bundle various advisory services for pupils, education experts, teachers, and stakeholders in the entrepreneurship education ecosystem. The aim is to improve education in Hamburg as a whole. “For many years, Hamburg has created a unique environment for people interested in setting up a business and is therefore the right place for young talents to concretise and realise their business ideas,” said Dr Rolf Strittmatter, Managing Director of Hamburg Invest.
